FUHSD’s energy comes from gas (shown in blue) and electricity (shown in yellow). In the graph to the left, you will see the consumption of electricity or gas for each of our five high schools. Because electricity is measured in kWh and gas is measured in therms, we’ve standardized the data in terms of CO2e emissions.

By incentivizing EV usage in students and staff, FUHSD is able to cut down on vehicle emissions. We currently have ~ 200 chargers across all our high school sites, and the average occupancy for each is ~ 5 hours.
